Weekly Reflection - SECOND WEEK

This week marked the second week of my second-phase teaching practice, and unlike the previous one, it was a complete five-day schedule from Monday to Friday. Each day brought fresh experiences that helped me grow both personally and professionally.

I handled five classes throughout the week and gradually felt my confidence strengthening. My rapport with the students improved noticeably — they greeted me warmly, participated actively, and showed genuine enthusiasm during the lessons. I continued covering the assigned portions using flashcards, charts, activity cards, and short warm-up tasks to keep the sessions interactive and student-friendly. A pleasant highlight of the week was Thursday’s Library work. Organizing and arranging books reminded me that teaching is not only about instructing but also about creating welcoming learning spaces.The week remained smooth and structured, Friday’s special Children’s Day assembly was organized by the teacher trainees. It was welcomed well. Thus, the week went smoothly.

MEGA CLEANLINESS DRIVE

  In celebration of Gandhi Jayanti on October 2, 2024, the NSS unit of Fathima Memorial Training College, Mylapore, Kollam, conducted a mega cleanliness drive as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva initiative. This event not only honored the legacy of Mahatma Gandhi but also aimed to promote cleanliness and hygiene in the community.
