WORLD POETRY DAY



On March 21, 2025, the English Association Inkfluencers of Fathima Memorial Training College, Mylapore, brought words to life through a heartwarming celebration of World Poetry Day in the college Seminar Hall. The event beautifully reflected the theme—“Let the rhythm of poetry inspire young readers everywhere.”



With soulful recitations, creative interpretations, and dynamic literary performances, students showcased poetry’s power to move, inspire, and connect. The event not only honored the timeless beauty of poetic expression but also encouraged future educators to embrace and share the joy of literature in their teaching journeys.

The atmosphere was filled with rhythm, reflection, and reverence for the written word. A special note of appreciation goes to the conveners, organizers, and enthusiastic participants who transformed the day into a truly magical and memorable literary celebration.

  In celebration of Gandhi Jayanti on October 2, 2024, the NSS unit of Fathima Memorial Training College, Mylapore, Kollam, conducted a mega cleanliness drive as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva initiative. This event not only honored the legacy of Mahatma Gandhi but also aimed to promote cleanliness and hygiene in the community. The cleanliness drive commenced with an inauguration ceremony held at the premises of the Kollam Collectorate.
