INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY CELEBRATION



On March 10, 2025, Fathima Memorial Training College, Mylapore, proudly celebrated International Women’s Day under the banner of NSS Unit (KL-07-178), honoring the strength, resilience, and achievements of women through a series of inspiring and creative events.

The program commenced with a solemn prayer by NSS volunteers, setting a respectful tone for the day. Smt. Bincy Sain, NSS Program Officer, delivered the welcome address, followed by a thoughtful presidential address by Dr. M. Omanaseelan, Principal of FMTC Mylapore. The Chief Guest, Dr. Mini K.S., Vice Principal of FMTC Pallimukku, was warmly felicitated with a Ponnada, recognizing her presence and contribution.

The celebration included dynamic events such as impersonation and digital poster-making competitions, where students creatively highlighted the milestones and impact of women across generations. Heartfelt felicitations were offered by Smt. Anupama M.R. (Vice Principal, FMTC Mylapore) and Smt. Anamika B.S. (Union Advisor), further emphasizing the significance of the occasion.

The program concluded with a sincere vote of thanks delivered by NSS volunteer Alfiya, encapsulating the spirit of the day with the resonating theme: “Let’s celebrate being women together.” It was a memorable and empowering event that left a lasting impression on all.
