Fathima Memorial Training College, Mylapore, Kollam, bloomed with affection and creativity on February 14, 2025, as the Department of English hosted a delightful Valentine’s Day celebration titled “Lavender.” Held at 10:30 AM in the Seminar Hall, the event radiated warmth, joy, and emotional connection through a graceful blend of performances and participation.

Drenched in the soothing hues of lavender—symbolizing purity, love, and calm—the celebration explored the many beautiful facets of love, from self-appreciation to deep friendships and empathy. Soulful musical numbers, heartfelt poetry recitations, interactive games, and touching moments brought the celebration to life.

The vibrant décor and enthusiastic student involvement turned the event into an unforgettable experience. “Lavender” was more than a celebration; it was a gentle reminder that love, in all its forms, begins with understanding and kindness.
