INTERNATIONAL MOTHER LANGUAGE DAY



Fathima Memorial Training College, Mylapore, came alive with cultural pride and linguistic harmony on February 21, 2025, as the Malayalam Department hosted a vibrant celebration of International Mother Language Day. The event paid homage to the richness of native languages and the vital role they play in shaping identity and unity.



Students and faculty joined hands in a colorful array of cultural performances, soulful poetry recitations, and thoughtful discussions that underscored the importance of preserving and promoting mother tongues. The day was a celebration of diversity, echoing the spirit of multilingualism and cultural inclusiveness.
